  A rip off, not friendly, and low quality service. Avoid if you can...
  Took my cat to Medivet Flitwick yesterday – Jan 11th 2017 – for vaccination (that supposedly by default comes with a free health check), also to micro chip her and do the warming and flee treatment. The reception staff and the doctor were not rude but not friendly either, I didn't feel any passion, or care from them towards either my cat or myself, instead you sense they just want to finish their job and get rid of you both. Anyways the doctor mistakenly applied the spot on treatment (some sort of paste application) not on the neck but on her back, my cat could reach it with both her tongue and claws which is so wrong. The doctor said one of her eyes is a bit red so suggested to have the vaccination on Saturday as well the micro chipping so we agreed but wasn't told any further details at all, the reception then surprised us with £35 for the health check we took since we didn't take the vaccination!! I explained that we wanted to take the vaccination and we are here mainly for it; only the doctor preferred to give her that on Saturday but no extra fees were agreed, but she insisted we must pay for a consultation. I also realised that the flee treatment and the eye drops are exactly DOUBLE the retail price elsewhere. in short they played us to have us pay as much as they can, plus dragging us one more time so that they can charge us even more. I left there about a £100 ripped off me and got nothing really in return. I contacted another vet in the afternoon and took my girl to them, they said nothing with the cat prevents her from either micro-shipping nor vaccination and gave us the best service ever with quarter the price! As for Medivet; no chance I would go there again or recommend anyone to do so.
